Bersih 2.0 Partners with Regov in Creating a Secure Online e-Voting Solution

On the 21st of June 2021, ReGov Technologies was featured for our partnership with Bersih 2.0 in creating an online e-voting solution that will see voters being offered an online petition platform that allows secure and verifiable voting, thus increasing the legitimacy of their petitions and the signatures that go with it.

This platform performs instant facial recognition, an NRIC check, OTP, and card validation, to ensure that voters are indeed who they say they are in a smooth and straightforward registration process that emphasizes a balance between accessibility and security.

“We are excited with the prospect of running the first-ever Simulated Recall Election in Malaysia, but also the first on a secure and reliable e-voting system,” said Thomas Fann, Chairman of Bersih 2.0
